Program and Description
Aksu-Zhabagly is world famous National Reserve in Kazakhstan and whole Central Asian region. It is one of the oldest national parks in the country. It was founded in 1926 by decree of Soviet government. It is located in Southern Kazakhstan region and has a huge territory, which borders with Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. There are many mountain gorges, canyons, alpine lakes and rivers. Many unique plant speices, which are listed in Red data book are growing in the mountains of reserve. Also the reserve is rich with very rare and endangered types of wild animals. The highest mountain of Southern Kazakhstan Sayram peak is located on the territory of the reserve. There are about 27 mountain lakes in the reserve, which are situated at the height where the snow doesn't melt.
On preliminarily request we can help to book accommodation and buy transport tickets. The stories of the guide are based on historical, cultural and ethnographical information. They include also expert's personal view and alternative resources. The guide can adjust the program of the tour or you can propose your own personal program.
The price for one person is US$ 141 per day.
The price for a group of two people the price is US$ 96 per person per day.
The price for a group of three people the price is US$ 83 per person per day.
Homestay for 1-5 days is possible.
Price for homestay and three meals is about US$ 30 per day.
Horseback riding is possible.
